Chalkpiece is a collective of socially-driven designers using human-centered design to solve real-world problems, including climate change. We make design accessible through creative programs and youth-led initiatives, empowering communities to think, learn, and create sustainable impact.

To create a world where design is a fundamental life skill , enabling every child, youth, and community to think creatively, act empathetically, and solve real-world problems with confidence and care.

To integrate human centered design into everyday learning and academic systems . empowering children, youth, and underserved communities to identify problems, co-create solutions, and lead social transformation.
Value
The designer are at the top of the chain, laying out rules and direction that will impact so many lives. We want to emphasize upon their responsibility and guide the budding Designer and people in the path of Designing for the Greater good.
What we do?
At Chalkpiece, we believe in making design education accessible, practical, and empowering. Our work revolves around four core programs that bring Design Education to schools, communities, and emerging designers:
Design and Discover Program
We run immersive fellowship programs in schools where students learn human-centered design, identify real problems, and co-create solutions. Educators are also trained to embed design into everyday teaching.
Community Design Library
Our design libraries are creative spaces where children, youth, teachers, and local communities explore design thinking through books, tools, and hands-on activities. These spaces are inclusive, especially for under-resourced schools.
UX/UI Design Internship
We offer structured internships for college students and aspiring designers to gain real-world experience in UX/UI design. Interns work on social impact projects, build portfolios, and receive mentorship to become industry-ready.
Design for Future Workshops
We run 3-day design hackathon workshops on climate action, accessibility, gender, and community challenges, empowering students, educators, and women to co-create inclusive and sustainable solutions.

Pillars of Chalkpiece
At Chalkpiece, we build a strong foundation for design education and social impact through four key pillars. Each pillar represents a unique program or initiative aimed at empowering young minds and communities with human-centered design skills to create meaningful, lasting change.
The organization has come up with an extensive ten week program which will help in unleashing the skills of the children belonging to the deprived community.
Most NGOs suffer from not being recognised by the public. This normally happens due to the lack of designers who help in painting posters and promoting the cause. Noticing such a problem The chalk fuse was brought upon to bridge the gap between the NGO’s and the Designers.
Genie is a person, a classroom comrade or say an usher to the students and teachers who is appointed to help them in solving problems regarding education, community level, emotional needs and support, guidance in subjects and so on and so forth.
